Description of 1965 Mercury Comet Cyclone

1965 Comet Gasser with a 351 Windsor stroked to 408. Fender Well Headers custom made. It has a 5 speed Tremec with a Hurst Shifter, Ford 9 inch rearend narrowed with Moser Axels and 4.56 gears.
Ladder Bar with sliders suspension with leaf springs and drive shaft loop. Four 4 wheel disc brakes and Torq Thrust wheels (Street) for that Nostalgic look. It also comes with period correct ET wheels and slicks for the weekend drags.
Econoline van front straight axle, New Aluminum Fuel Cell and a 6 point Roll Cage. Newer exhaust for the street but also Cutouts for the strip.
A NO rust body, Fiberglass fenders, hood, decklid, and bumpers. Paint is a 8 out of 10, base/clear. Lexan period correct side windows. Decals are vinyl and can be removed easily.
Interior is completely done with seats and door panels. Gauges are new and all work correctly. Turn signals, brake lights, headlights, all work for street driving and car shows.
Basically this car is complete and ready to enjoy on the Street at car shows or on the Dragstrip. It has done both! It runs and drives beautifully, and a BLAST to drive!!! But be careful because it will get you a ticket.
