Description of 1969 Mercury Cyclone CJ

I'm selling my 1969 Mercury Cyclone CJ.....one could argue that this was one of the baddest cars offered in 1969. It is an American muscle car and this example shows just 50k miles. This car has been in my family since new. This car is an original Ram Air ...428 Cobra jet with a 4sp and 3:91 rear. The serial number indicates that also ...9H16RXXXXX. The door tag reads Body...63H....Color X...Trim CB....Date 05C.....DSO 16...Axle V and Trans 6. The code on the Transmission reads RUG...AJ it indicates 69...428 ..close ratio. If your looking at this ad then you know how rare this vehicle is. We believe it's a Super Cobra Jet however not sure how to prove it at this point. My uncle purchased it new however didn't keep any record no one really cared about paper work back then. Like most Mercurys of the day it has pwr steering, pwr disc brakes and Am/Fm radio. The pictures tell the story she will need to be restored.. The trunk is in good condition however the front floors will need to be replaced. The unibody is in good condition for its age. I haven't found any rust in the unibody. I have additional pictures of the underneath and can send them to any interested parties. The mouldings are in good overall condition however some will need work all the hard pieces are here. One of the hardest parts to find is the grille and this one is in very good condition I also have the Cyclone emblem and its included with the sale. I have an extra hood and passenger side fender. I DO NOT HAVE THE RAM AIR HOOD I HAVE TWO FLAT HOODS........THE ORIGINAL MOTOR WAS BLOWN IT NOW HAS A 390 WITH THE ORIGINAL 428 HEADS. The rims on the car are not included the buyer will receive tires and rims to transport the vehicle. IF YOU WANT SOMETHING DIFFERENT THAT YOU WON'T SEE AT EVERY CAR SHOW AND TRUST ME YOU WON'T WITH SUCH LOW PRODUCTION NUMBERS....THEN THIS MAY BE THE CAR FOR YOU.
