Description of 1965 Mercury Commuter Station Wagon |
NO RESERVE Fuzzy Dice Autos Is presenting a really cool and very rare complete survivor 1965 Mercury Commuter Station Wagon. This cruiser is as original as it gets. Never repainted and still with its original interior. No rust, rust repair or damage anywhere. The paint finish is remarkable for being 52 years old. There are a few blemishes and nicks here and there but no damage or dents. The seats, door panels, carpeting and headliner are all wonderful and evident of a 42,000 mile vehicle. The all around glass, the chrome, the wheels and tires are all very nice. The wagon came with its original Z Code V8, 390 with a 4 Bbl carb, automatic transmission, power steerin, power brakes and power turn down gate window. A new throaty muffler system was recently added. That system and the modernized wheels are the only things not original to the car. And of course not the surf board. Although it does come with the car. As you can see the engine compartment is nicely detailed. The underside is rust free and damage free. Photos can be provided to those interested buyers. Driving this boat is a real treat. It drives straight, strong and stops on a dime. The engine runs strong and quiet. No blow back or fluid leaks. This is a turnkey vehicle that can be driven anywhere and often. This is a NO RESERVE auction meaning that the high bidder when the auction ends gets to own this very special collector car. So please be certain before placing your bid. We can assist in any of your transport needs here in the states or abroad. Very best of luck! |
