Looking for a good home for my two door wagon. With only 272 ever made, very few know that they exist so expect a crowd at every car show you attend. Showing around 47400 miles on the 5-digit odometer, judging by the condition I am certain it hasn't rolled over. It started its life as an emergency vehicle in British Colombia and then retired going out only on summer weekend car shows and trips. A 289ci '66 Mustang engine was rebuilt and installed mated to a 3 speed manual on the tree. The entire drivetrain is in excellent condition, the V8 is perfectly suited to a wagon of this size. It rides smoothly with some new suspension components recently replaced. It has been repainted in its original Jamaica yellow with a white roof a couple of years ago, other than two tiny touch ups on the hood, it shows perfectly. The interior is in great shape, the rear seats flip/fold to give a huge amount of space. I have made sure to get the whole body and undercarriage inspected by a professional vintage car restorer before I purchased it and I also tested every inch of the body with a magnet and it stuck everywhere surprisingly with a car of this vintage. I have noticed while taking the pictures that the battery is over 4 years old. I will get it replaced to any buyer that isn't local and plans to drive it back home just to be on the safe side, it never gave me any trouble yet. I have a couple of boxes with a mix of new and used accessories that I will include. I am hoping it goes to someone that enjoys it and take it to lots of car shows. I am located in Ottawa, ON Canada. I would prefer someone to meet in person and drive it away. I will not release it until the full amount is in my bank account either way. If the winning bidder prefers to ship it I am flexible with the pickup date. Third party inspections are welcomed and I am willing to do a live video call showing it to the winning bidder. Feel free to send me a private message with any questions while the auction is live.
