Description of 1967 Mercury Cougar Base A Code |
This Cougar is the classic garage find! Interior is all original, car had been in storage for 21 years, original family 1 owner vehicle. Starts and runs well, no noticeable problems or leaks. A/C does not hold a charge, most likely a simple hose(all original hoses) or condenser coil problem. Retractable vacuum headlamps work well, as do all instruments and devices - even the factory AM/FM radio and sequential turn signals. No appreciable rust on the vehicle - 2 small spots inside engine compartment at top and 2 in trunk, small spot on the passenger side floor (likely from a plugged evaporator core drain). Original mileage, 42056 - this would be a great starting point for a pristine restoration. After further review, there are rust photos attached, as well as the engine compartment. The option was not to clean the engine compartment so the perspective buyer can attest to the originality of this A Code Cougar. eBay will only allow 24 photos. Email if you need others. Additional photos available upon request. On Jun-29-17 at 03:49:18 PDT, seller added the following information: This Cougar is the classic garage find!
