Description of 1972 Mercury Comet GT with front and rear spoiler

Original 1972 Mercury Comet GT with 48,920 actual miles.No rust. All original except one paint job, radio, and tach on steering wheel. This amazing beautiful car is a rare find and a real head turner. Equiped with a ford matching number V8 302 cu. in. engine. Automatic transmission. Bucket seats and floor console shift.Everything works great. Chrome is in very good condition. Radiator fan, trunk release on dash, glass is excellent. The paint is very nice with only a few road scratches, etc. I believe the black stripes are taped but the front may have been painted. I am not sure. I need to get an expert over to investigate this. This car needs nothing and drives beautiful. The dash lights are not working,volt guage not working, spare tire and jack missing. This car is sold as is. Let the pics do the rest of the talking. Upon closer examination i have concluded the decal on trunk is taped. I cannot say for sure on the hood but it looks great ( at least to the untrained eye) . hope this helps you.
