Beautiful 1969 Mercury Cougar. This is one of only 152 Denver Ski Pack Special models, which was a dealer prepped promotional package from a Denver area dealer. Car is equipped with 351W V8, FMX automatic, Holley 4V carburetor, 3.25 Traction-Lok rear axle, power steering, American Racing Equipment Torque Thrust II wheels, and BF Goodrich radials. Interior has vinyl bucket seats, wood trim, chrome trim, sport steering wheel, and original AM radio. Dash and headliner are in excellent condition. Original center console with clock is included but is currently removed. Carpet is in great shape with slight fading but it comes with a brand new black carpet kit. I never installed it because I liked the all red look, but it will really set off the rest of the interior nicely once installed. The driver's seat needs to be reupholstered due to a large tear in the bun (the part you sit on), but it can be driven just fine as is. All gauges work properly. The paint is in very good shape but has some minor flaws (a few little scratches and dings, and slight bubbling on the quarter panels by the rear tires) but it still looks great sitting parked. The sequential rear turn signals work perfectly which gives the car a really cool effect. All badges and emblems are intact. Rear window trim was removed to replace the glass, but I have the trim and the installation clips. I also have a Deluxe Marti Report which provides very detailed information about the car (original options, VIN info, order date, build date, sale date, etc). The seller had no documentation so I know very little about the history of this car, but it has obviously been restored within the last few years. Registration and inspection are good through March 2018. Car has antique plates which are only required to be renewed every five years. Car runs and drives great. It is complete and all the little, hard to find things are there, which will save you lots of time and money.
