Description of 1962 Mercury Comet villager |
| Up for sale is My 62 Comet Villager wagon. If your reading this you know its a rare car. It runs great with a 200 cid engine with a rebuilt 2spd trans.The engine is not original but runs well. The paint is original Sultana white and it has a great patina. The interior is also original except for the carpet. I restored the the whole underside by sand blasting and painting w por15 and a top coat. All metal is original. Is has little surface rust. All new with 65 steering components to make it steer nicer. New springs all around . New ball joints and arms too. I know I'm forgetting some new parts. I love this car but I never drive anymore so I hope it finds a new caretaker that will love and appreciate her. I welcome all questions.
