1970 Mercury cyclone spoiler

Very complete car, has been off the road since 1984. It was purchased by a Vietnam vet when he came back and I recently aquired it from his brothers. The car is Competitionorange, hideaway, trac lock rear end has some really nice options. All there for the most part. He blew up the original block and installed another 429 block then blew this one in 84 parked every since.

The original vin matched block will need a sleeve and a good over bore. The block that is in it now appears to be stuck and the motor is mostly just mocked up. The original n case 31 spline rear is there with tag as is the cast iron tailshaft c6 with the tag and r servo.

The car appears to have been in some sort of a fender bender at one time and there is filler in alot of places but very very few rust holes. It's for the most part all solid metal and filler was used to even things out. Torque boxes good, all the frame rails appear good, drop downs don't even need replaced. There is rust in a few places, front pans need some patch work. Decklid needs replaced as rodents got into it bad and also made nests on gas tank and metal in front of gas tank rusting it along with areas of the weatherstripping channel. The rest of trunk is very solid. Fenders have some holes where they usually rust below the emblems. Door jams all look great and rust free.

This car is very complete down to having its original ram air unit even(it is a little crusty on the midplate). Carb, intake, head, uncracked manifolds, valve covers, cj dipstick(was told all internals are now in motor in car) and valve covers.Things I know I'm missing are below.

This car is really very solid sometimes I’m overly picky when selling. I’ve owned over 50 -70-71 Torino’s and cyclones and this car is a superb restoration project. Clean title please feel free to ask questions and I am willing to text /email any pics you want. This is a very rare very complete car. Definitely not a parts car I don’t fluff my cars up .
