68 Mercury Cougar Unrestored Survivor / One Owner / 60K Actual Miles / Cold AC

For Sale is this unrestored survivor 1968 Mercury Cougar Dan Gurney Edition with 60,800 One Owner actual miles.

Purchased from the wife of the original owner this car was sold new in Mobile, Alabama at Robinson Brothers Lincoln Mercury. Warranty book signed by Bill Robinson himself. This car has never left Mobile! I have the glove box literature with warranty cards, manuals, etc. etc.

One repaint in its original color of Blue Diamond, almost white but its not. Blue interior is 95% original and very nice. The paint is peeling off in a few areas around the fender and quarter panel extensions and the rear valance. Seems to be a different kind of metal. You would not want to paint this car in my opinion.

302 V8 with 2BBL

C4 Automatic Transmission with Console Shift and Bucket Seats

Power Steering and Power Brakes

The Dan Gurney Special Turbine Wheels Covers are the originals

Aftermarket Radio is the only thing that I can find that has been altered

This is not a rusty old car, very very little surface rust and the original floor pans are just near perfect. Never been restored, detailed withspray paint cans, etc. etc. A true unrestored survivor with documentation, super solid and straight body. All lights work including the pop up headlights and the sequential blinking tail lights!!Spare and jack are in the trunk.

I have this car priced where a family, father and son, etc. can have a lot of fun and not break the bank! Sold as is but it is like I say.

PLEASE NOTE ;; I have had people ask me how I know this Cougar is actually a Dan Gurney Special 100%. I have added two photos of the Kevin Marti Report that I received yesterday. Now we know 100%

I have added a Buy-It-Now on this auction as requested by people wanting to know what is the bottom price. I want this car to go to a good home that will enjoy it as the original owner did. It is not perfect, they are only original once!
