Description of 1966 Mercury Monterey

1966 4 door no-post (best looking type of 4-door out there) . Always adult owned . 45865 orig. miles (will change as I drive it daily) . It was purchased from an elderly womans estate many years ago and has been on the road off and on since 2008 . FE390 2-barrel V8 (Runs great) . C6 auto (Shifts nice and smooth) . nbsp; 9" rear . It had a repaint years ago and could use another or drive it as is like I do (still gets thumbs up) . Very little rust . a little in the bottom of both rear doors and the rear where the trunk lid closes onto the seal and under the battery tray (all else is surface only) . Frame - Floorpans and trunk are 100% solid . All glass is perfect . All windows roll up and down easily . nbsp;Doors open and shut nice and tight . Fuel gauge doesn't work but everything works like it should . I also have the 4 stock hubcaps to go with it. On 2-09-2015 - All 4 wheels have new wheel cylinders . brake shoes . nbsp;front brake hoses . new rear drums . new master cylinder and power brake booster . front wheel bearings also cleaned and repacked . fresh oil change and radiator flush . plugs . wires . cap . rotor and points . air filter . front seat cover . Smokes a little at start up (valve seals) doesn't smoke while driving . Doesn't use oil and has zero leaks. I can store it with payment made in full for a short period of time I have plenty of room to do so . I also have room for a shipper to pick it up and can help load if needed. The closest airport to me is the Tri-Cities Regional Airport at 2525 Tennessee 75. Blountville. TN 37617 . It does have power steering and you can steer it with your pinky finger its so smooth . goes down the road straight as an arrow . brakes straight . has hot heat . I also have a new set of shocks for it that I will try to get to but if not they come with the car . Clear Tn title in my name.
