This is a rare 1957 Mercury Monterey convertible project car. The car will need frame repairs or replacement, and much of the mechanicals gone through. The engine does turn by hand, but I have not tried to start it. The engine and transmission are just setting in the car, and are not bolted in. The transmission cross member is missing. The car has some sheet metal repairs and there is body filler present from the previous owner. The interior is useable as is, actually looks pretty good, but it is not of the original style. There is some rust through on the convertible top header, but repairable. The dash pad is shot. Car has the push button selector for the transmission. One rear leaf spring is broken. Please look at pictures and call for any questions. I am selling this car with no reserve as I need to move it out. I have too many projects. The car comes with a New Jersey title and the car had a replacement VIN tag as original was lost. Buyer will need to transport car, I can help with loading. Would like car moved within a few weeks, payment due in full in seven days after close of auction. If you want to make an offer, let me know. Car is available through other marketplaces, and I reserve the right to cancel the auction at any time. Ted 440-478-6801
