The cars had become taller and squarer and gained many variations throughout the whole company. Mercury would finally get to call the Monterey its own model with the new designs coming out. The Monterey went through many changes throughout its history. 1956 was a slightly updated and re-trimmed version of the 1955 model year but was otherwise a carryover year for Mercury. Car designs got much more extravagant in the 1957 model year so the 1956 models were considered the last "conservative" design for cars until about 1963.Wow! What a bargain and a lot of car for little investment in a classic. A lot of good times could be had in this lovely driver.Priced to Sell fast - Make a fair offer and let's make a Deal!
