This is a Texas/New Mexico survivor car with no rust issues! None. No patch panel or bondo that I know of. I have included some pics of the underside to show the original rocker panels and body mounts in good condition. Factory undercoating is good too. I have owned this car for around two years and being nearly 83 years old my health has gone south and I will sell the car now... I have had a lot of interest in the car but no one has made a good enough offer yet. 1 might consider a nice $10,000 4x4 3/4 ton pickup in trade...but will offer only trade-in allowance for it as I think my Merc is priced low for a car this nice! The engine runs sweet and with the overdrive trans it gets really good MPG as well. No leaks and no smoke, starts right up with a touch of the starter button hot or cold...Five new Coker wide whitewall radial tires, size 7.10 x 15 ... two new Optima six volt batteries for more power... It seems most responders think there is something wrong with my car, well there isn't anything that I know of that will make it unsaleable. The paint is not perfect but good driver quality in my opinion. I put the correct door mirrors on it and the old screw holes don't match perfect so I put stainless screws in their place. There is a small dent on the lower driver quarter just behind the door. The chrome is very nice and has obviously been redone. I have the clear title in my name and in-hand. I also have a folder with lots of receipts and info about what has been done with the car before I got it and some of the stuff I have done as well. Again, there is no rust I know of !!
