Description of 1979 Mercury Zephyr Z-7

This is an excellent early fox body. It has zero rust. All trim and moldings are intact as they should be. It is 100% original except for the Mustang 10 hole wheels and a true dual 2.5" Flowmaster exhaust.
The 302 is a stock 2 barrel and it has had new head gaskets about 15k miles ago along with the heads surfaced, valve job and guides. The transmission is a C4 automatic that does not leak, slip and shifts like it was new.
The known problems:rip in carpet on driver siderip in seat on driver sidesmall dent on top of RH fendersmall oil leak from timing cover (i.e. a drop or two over night)air conditioning disabledBrakes squeak when cold but stop once used a couple of times
This has been a great project car for me and it's well loved and will be missed.
