Stately. That's the word that comes to mind with this Grand Marquis.
This is back when luxury was still measured by the foot.
The ride can best be described as supple. Smooth, like riding on a cloud. Quiet as well. I guess that why Ford added "ride engineered" badge to the dash.

This car has been in Stockton, CA its whole life, I am the second owner.

Condition wise, This car was well kept.
The exterior and interior are in very good condition.
No rips in seats, headliner, no cracks in the dash etc. Its certainly Not perfect though, as it is in mostly original condition (aftermarket stereo). Exterior has some small scratches and small dings, but over all in good condition. Interior has Some of the plastic piping in the seat has small cracks. The lower door panel carpets are a bit loose. The back driver side window is stuck in the up position, but the motor works. There is a 1/2 hole cut (for a possible a speaker install? not sure) where door panel connects to bottom of door. Not really noticeable, I didn't even see it until selling this car. Some of the velour cloth has faded a bit, but still looks very good, especially for its age. (see pics).

The odometer has never rolled over. The 3/15/2001 mileage on the carfax is incorrect. was submitted by a Smog facility assuming the 5 digit odometer had rolled over, but it had not.

The car is currently registered, clean title no back fees. Passed California smog on Oct 15th.

If it makes you feel more comfortable i am willing to conduct the sale through an auto broker, but they must be local to Stockton.
