1968 Mercury Cyclone 2 door. 302, auto. This car runs and drives. Brakes work! This is truly a "Barn Find". I found this car in the Rochester NY area in 2017 and it had been sitting in a barn since 1985. Mileage shown is 28,345. This mileage maybe original indeed, if it was 128, I think the car would be completed rusted away. It has all original paint with no signs of any previous body work. Only the hood has been replaced and painted black as the original hood was badly damaged from being left unlatched and it flew open... Please look at the pictures to see how really solid this car is. There are some very small holes in the right front passenger floor and at the bottom of the rear wheelhouses. It will also need some repair in the battery tray area.
This car would be an amazing restoration project or drive as is. It will need tires and some exhaust work. The car is complete and the windows do roll up and down properly. It has a new aluminum radiator, starts no problem and does brake properly. It even has it's original rear brake shoes with ford part numbers still on the car!! Pleas, no overseas buyers. No reserve.
