I like owning cars they no one else has. You won’t find many of these left, especially in this condition. It gets a lot of attention wherever I go and many thumbs up driving down the road.

Cars history that I am aware of-

Started out as a California car. It ended up in Indianapolis, Michigan, Ohio and now in California for past two years. The east coast owners didn’t drive car much.

Indianapolis owner did a frame up (not off) restoration on paint, body, wood siding and interior. He sold it to someone out of Detroit who rebuilt engine, transmission and rear differential. He sold it to respected auto customizer out of Ohio who parked it in warehouse for 3-5 years.

I think all this work was done in past 10 years with minimal miles since.

Engine- FE390 2 barrel, alternator added in place of generator

Transmission - 3 speed automatic

Other modifications-

New Wilwood front disc brakes, brake proportioning valve and brake booster

Ridetech front coil overs and 3” lowering blocks in back

All rubber bushings in front replaced along with proper offset bolt centric conversion

Ford shorty headers and Magnaflow mufflers

Billet Specialties 18”/20” wheels

Retro sound factory look Bluetooth radio with USB and satellite ready. JL Audio speakers in kick panel.

E-Stopp electronic emergency brake

Griffin aluminum radiator

New plugs, plug wires, engine oil/coolant

Optima battery and Pertronix ignition

Mercury pentroof valve covers and chrome air cleaner

LED headlights and dash lights

Miscellaneous NOS parts including map light, neutral safety switch, turn signal switch, horn relay, tailgate lock cover, passenger taillight, interior door handles, window rollers, NORS plastic vent ducts (factory is paper), fresh air rubber inlet, power steering lines, Power steering cylinder

Modern internals added to clock

Everything works unless noted below. This is a 58 year old car. There is going to be some scratche, paint chips, etc…

Don’t like the wheels? You can easily change them. Want stock ride height? Takes a couple of hours labor to change.

Check out undercarriage pictures. Floors and quarter panels look solid. I don’t see any rust aside from surface rust.

Black plates are part of CA YOM program. Where I pay annually to have them plus registration. If you are a CA buyer you can transfer them over. If you are out of state buyer then I will keep them.

Known issues-

Some scratches on exterior, glass, wood panels.

Get a 5 second belt screech if you fire it up when cold.

One small tear in second row back seat 1” long plus a 2” long tear on side of rear passenger seat that can only be seen with door open. I will include extra material if you want to fix it.

Cigarette lighter has to be pushed into place and held to work

Steering wheel acrylic is in excellent condition. Lower Green part of wheel has some scratches where it bled though to black color underneath.

Windshield rubber seal is tired- will include new one but you need to install it.

Stainless trim is straight. Noticed a small dimple on passenger fender stainless. Roof drip rail stainless has many pin head size dimples.

Spare tire and Jack missing

Generator gauge doesn’t work because generator removed and alternator added

Two small screw holes in dash. Looks like cb radio may have been mounted here previously

Ride is rougher lowered. If you want softer ride, raise it up

Sometimes you have to slightly pull up on shifter to start to engage neutral safety switch. It’s a nice security measure.
