[isdntekvideo] High Performance 1979 Mercury Capri RS 3022Up for sale is this highly modified, 1 owner Capri with only 5K miles. We are trying to sell it for the widow of the man responsible for building it who tragically left us way too soon. He had the car meticulously constructed from high performance upgrades from marquis sources and no expense was spared in the process. Even though it was built for maximum power it was designed strictly as a show car and has never actually been raced. No expense was spared in the appearance department either as can be seen in the photos. It certainly has the capacity to be a pavement shredding burner but that was all just for looks with this owner. It has been to many car shows and cruises in the region but not to a race track. The engine is original to the vehicle but has been completely rebuilt from the inside out to blueprint specs with top quality components such as forged pistons and all new bearings, guides, seals, etc., etc. All internal parts were renewed.
