This 1952 MG TD car is a true survivor that has not been exposed to the elements or left to fall into disrepair, nd has been kept in excellent mechanical shape throughout it life. It is ready for touring and other enthusiast events that's sure to bring its new owner years of reliable enjoyment and appreciation. We purchased this car about a year ago, t is dependable, un to drive and it turns everybody's head The car is all original and has not restored or modified over the years. It has been kept in tip top mechanical shape. With all of the original engine compartment plates still intact and very legible. As you can see in the photos, he VIN, ody and engine numbers are still readable on the factory plates. The car is an excellent car in all areas with the exception of the paint, he paint is good but it really needs a wet sand and buff or new paint applied to make the car outstanding in every way. The engine is the original 1250cc 4 cylinder (XPAG-TD2-18494) with twin SU carburetors and original filters. It has its original 4 speed manual transmission and rear axle, ll of which are in excellent running condition. It idles effortlessly and consistently and pulls strongly and smoothly through each of the transmission's 4 gears. Engine compression is good across all cylinders, he car drives and brakes straight and true and the ride quality is good, true joy to drive whether tooling through town, r cruising down the highway. The body and frame are entirely original, traight and accident-free with correct and even panel fit and gaps. The glass and brightwork is all in excellent original condition, s are the original wheels and hubcaps. The soft top is in excellent condition and shows no age, he car's undercarriage is original and sound, ree of any corrosion or rust and completely straight and correct. The car's interior is in clean original type condition, he seats, arpets and interior panels are all in perfect condition. The dash houses fully functional gauges and switches.
