Description of 1973 MG MGB MGB-GT

I've put a lot of work into this car. but I already have way too many cars sitting around the house so I need to sell it. It drives well and gets great gas mileage. I was using this as my daily commuter until my daily commute became 40+ miles. and I felt this car deserved better. It has some minor rust spots that need repaired. I've tried to highlight them in the pictures. Overall though it is an absolutely gorgeous car that gets lots of attention. You can see more pictures at: Pictures! This is what we've done to it since purchasing it:Door locks repaired. Heater core removed and openings sealed to prevent engine heat from heating the car interior. Original fresh air openings through firewall to center dash vents sealed. Center dash vents now provide air from the A/C unit. Fresh air baffle under dash rebuilt so that outside air can be regulated or stopped. Broken A/C vent hoses replaced and broken housing on the evaporator unit repaired. New window crank handles. Rusted out sections of the floorboard de-rusted. reinforced. then repaired with fiberglass cloth and resin. Bolts and anchor points repaired as needed. Armrest console and latch repaired. Custom built a new steering wheel horn contact and ring assembly since no original or aftermarket parts were available for this. Added twin air horns and compressor. along with a new fused relay circuit in the engine compartment to power it. Rerouted push button switch on the left side of the steering console to activate the air horns. Broken wiper / overdrive switch cluster replaced. Wiper wiring repaired (jury-rigged by previous owner) so that wipers properly function on both low and high speeds.
