Description of 1979 MG MGB MGB 2-top Roadster, 52k miles, 2-owners, no rust!

You are bidding on a wonderful example of a two-owner, ow original mile (52k), ust-free 1979 MGB in beautiful original Pageant Blue with two-tone black and cocoa interior.
This is a rust-free car wearing original paint, till very shiny and good-looking as you can see. There are minor dings and dents; nothing major... the pictures were taken from about ten feet away and you don't notice them because they are indeed very minor. The body is straight, anel alignment good, ever involved in an accident. Bumpers are original and not sun-damaged. The wheels are original, nd have been restored, nd wear almost new radial tires.
The engine is original to the vehicle and underwent a light overhaul by the original owner at 50k on the odometer. It has been driven just over 2,000 miles since the work was performed, nd the car runs beautifully. The cooling fans have recently been replaced with new, s well as the electric fuel pump. The ignition is electronic/breakerless and performs wonderfully. The car runs smoothy, as power throughout the full RPM range, aintains strong oil pressure, nd runs cool. All the gauges work, ll electrical features and systems work except the horn; it blew its last recently... easy fix. Regular and routine maintenance since new; very well-sorted out.
The interior is gorgeous, eaturing black bucket seats, an door and kick panels, nd cocoa carpeting; a very classy and attractive combination.
This MG also sold new with the rare and optional factory removable hard top, till in pristine condition. It also has its original soft top, till quite serviceable, lthough the zipper for the back window has failed. It comes with its original full cockpit tonneau cover, s well as the original convertible top boot.
Additional features include the luggage rack, s well as a new premium sound system with remote. The engine has been recently tuned, he brakes gone through, nd the clutch adjusted and bled to get the best pedal feel possible.
The carpet kit is brand-new, nd is a correct factory replacement colored kit. The car has spent most of its life garaged, nd always cleaned before being put up... it shows. I took pictures of the pristine rust-free floor pans when the carpet was out, s shown.
The only thing I can think to mention regarding service and/or maintenance is that the third gear synchro seems tired; if you speed-shift into third, ou will get a bit of gear grind. If you throttle off or double-clutch, o grind. Does NOT pop out of any gear, nd when driven "normally," you won't notice. That said, want to disclose anything and everything for your consideration.
