1973 rust-free MGB 4-speed for sale. Comes with hardtop and padded rollbar. Beautiful deep cordoba red paint and clear coat that is virtually flawless — see pictures. Rear tube shock conversion and new gas tank. Valve job and new piston rings (no lip on cylinder walls) done in 2014. New oil pump — 50 psi at idle and 70 psi under load. Have driven +500 miles since overhaul. Dual HS4s installed. Painted wires with eared knockoffs that run true. Brake pedal is a rock. Cooper 175/70R14 tires new in 2009. All gauges work. Has radio with aux input and dual 6x9"rear speakers mounted in trunk. Has tonneau cover and AMCO mats. I believe this was originally a '73 with Black Tulip paint and Ochre interior - the only year with this color combination. I have changed the door panels to Autumn Leaf due to the poor condition of the originals. Tan rag top is in excellent condition and matches the interior color. The only flaws are the dash has a dash cap, he driver's seat is damaged (not at the seams however- vinyl slightly melted on back of seat), ar missing mounting brackets for hardtop (I simply wire it on), nd paint has small chips on body near the top of the hood. Beautiful, ery driveable MG. Sold as is. Thank for looking.
