1978 MG MGB MK IV Convertible 2-Door 1.8L Wire Wheels

I am not a dealer and yes this is my car (actually my wife's). We need the garage bay for new vehicle, o this lovely 1978 white MGB must go!

As the pictures show, his MGB is as clean as they get. The car was formerly owned by the parts manager of theMG dealership that used to be in our area.This car is leyland white with a black interior, lack top and haswire wheels. Car comes with factoryjack, nock off wrench, onneau bar, ull tonneau cover and convertible top. Also in the boot will be a spare wire wheel, ire & tube. Yes, verything works on this car, xcept for the electric clock & the seat belt buzzer (repair shop disconnected it). If you are a purist looking for a concourse restoration, lease do not bid! However, f you want a car restored withdriving in mind, ou may not find a better example.The single Stromberg carb has been replaced by a pair of SU HS4 carbs complete with heat shield and overflow tubes.The originalelectronic ignition has been replaced with a lucas sports coil andlucas distributor with points. The cast iron intake/exhaust manifold has been replaced with a tubular header. Lastly, he rubber bumper MGBs had tohave the ride heightraised at the factoryto meet the US EPA minimum bumper height required in the late 70s, o this carhas been lowered by a inch to pre rubber bumper ride height.Also, he radio has been replaced with a modern cd/sat ready head unit with power antenna. California buyers take note, hatthe OEM distributor, arb, anifold have been boxed andgo with the car.

The car retains its original smog pump, ir rail, vaporate loss and egr systems as those operate as they should and present no significant performance detriment. The car was given anewSU fuel pump,fuel tank and fuel lines. The car was fitted with a new clutch, ressure plate, hrow out bearing, lutch master cylinder and slave cylinder.The braking systemreceived a new master cylinder, heel cylindersand any suspect lines replaced.
