Up for sale is a really nice 1961 MG A 1600 ROADSTER CONVERTIBLE. Well maintained MG A. IT IS THE 1600 CC Correct twin carb motor. Complete rebuild done about 20k miles ago. 1600cc dual SU carbs Runs like new. Clutch and pressure plate done. Tons of new parts lots of new chrome. All lights, linkers and turns signals gauges and windsheild wipers work properly. Heater works (tested) but needs new switch. NEW TIRES just installed on real nice true spoke wheels, o pits. New brakes, otors and Calipers, hocks, ie rods etc. New Muffler. New upgraded charging system, onverted to 12 volt. New cockpit cover. Nice Top. Nice chrome. New windshield and rubber under the windshield. Woodgrain dash. Am/Fm Stereo installed. I have a lot of documentation on repairs and parts purchased back into the late 70's on. I purchased form a gentlemen from Minnesota, ut have since set my eyes on another vehicle. This MGA runs and drives very nice doesn't wander, ery solid drive it down the road 65 mph no problem. Body is clean and paint is not show quality but nice. Took a magnet around it and it is very clean and seems bondo free. I put my hands in the doors and reached below on the bottom and they are rust free. The lips of the fenders are all metal. Seems this car is a rust free car. As far as value Old Cars Price guide #3 car shows a value of $20,600. A nice show car would go for $33,000. Make sure you have your finances in order before you bid. Only bid if you are serious.
