Description of 1967 MG MGB |
1967 MGB Barn find found in New York. the car is a matching number steel bumper steel dash car. The car is in need of a restoration. The car appears to have never been wrecked but the rockers are rusted out and need to be replaced. there is a small hole in the hood and the paint is beginning to crack. Interior has a few tears and a hole in the drivers seat. The dash board is in good shape there are no dents and the vinyl on top is not ripped and looks great. The top has rips but the frame is in good shape. The car has a new water pump. fuel pump. exhausts system and new tires. The car is running but over heats due to the head being cracked. I had replaced the head with a used one that I thought was good but after putting new valves and sleeves in the head after driving only 150 miles the car began to over heat. The transmission and clutch are functioning properly. The electrical system has some problems but all the necessary electronics for driving such as head lights. turn signals. brake lights. etc. are working gauges. inter lights. radio. nbsp;wipers are not working. The car has not been driven since the over heat that was approximately 2 years ago. When the car began to over heat it was immediately shut down and towed. The car has been stored inside ever since I have had It and was previously in a barn since 1986. The car does not have a title and never did have a title vehicles' of this age were not titled in New York at the time. I did register the vehicle once and did not have any problems doing so without a title. |
