A friend of mine has ask me to help him sell his 1955 MGTF .Its barn fresh with more than 10 years storage.Its still dusty and dirty just as it was when pulled out of storage.I have gotten it running by cleaning out the fuel tank and replaceing the fuel pump and have done a full brake job with new wheel cylinders and a rebuilt master cylinder.It sports the larger 1500 engine that runs well although there was an anti fouler in the number 3 cylinder and appears to have a fair amount of blow by witch could be from sitting for years or point to other engine problems.It sports the wire wheel option as well and has tires with out any miles on them but are more than 10 years old.The lights work as well as the turn signals and horn.The interior is in good shape but the carpet is poor.I reupholstered the driver seat back because it was so bad. I also replaced the rack boots as they were just rotted off.This is a florida car and still sports its 1996 tag.The current owner knows the history of the car back to the 70's when he used to work on it for a girl friend owner. It has a top that is no good and a tounu cover that isn't any good either but is good for a pattern.It also has its side curtains .There is also some tools that go with that may be part of the original tool kit.This car would be great for the guy or galwho wants an unrestored driver car, there only original once and to find one this complete and looks good enough to use as is.My daytime phone number is 407-687-5114
