1966 MGB Tourer #GHN3L624601This MG has been refinished in the original Old English White,it has new leather seats,carpet,top,and all rubber seals have been replaced.The top frame was bead blaste, painted gray as original,correct stow away top.The motor was completely rebuilt.The wheels were bead blasted and refinished in the original silver with tires and tubes,Michelin XAS 16514.A stainless steel exhaust has been fitted.The chrome has been replaced throughout.All systems work properly and the car the 100% correct and fully operational.The carburators were cleaned and rebuilt,as well as an alloy valve cover added to spruce up the engine.Stainless steel exhaust from Moss motors.All new hoses,belt, and the correct style clamps were fitted.This car has never been in any type of accident.The interior was completely original before restoration.The fuel tank,fuel pump and all lines have been replaced.New oil cooler and hoses were fitted.The brakes have been gone through,fitted with new rotors,pads,hoses,and brake shoes.The proper hardware was used throughout the restoration i.e.,fine thread,coarse,chrome,etc.Detailed receipts and pictures throughout the process were kept,parts alone totaled over $12,000,labor around 300 hours.I drove about 100 miles testing it and it performs very well.I have restored many show winning MG's and am extremely familiar with all of their idiosycrysies.Please feel free to ask any questions concerning the car before bidding.(540)910-3933,Jay.I have all the receipts for parts replaced.Pictures documenting the restoration were taken.All of the work has been done to a high standard and is as original looking as possible.If you look closely at a lot of cars for sale,you will see that is not often the case.It really makes a difference in value and this car has been driven,finely tuned and all of the bugs worked out,truly turn key.
