1973 MGB roadster restored by Sean Johnson in the late 90’s with about 14,000 miles since then, always garaged. All front end sheet metal, fenders bonnet/ hood/apron etc. replaced along with rear fender dog legs and boot/trunk lid. Frame was straight and rust free. Original paint stripped, sanded and entire car resprayed 1965 Aston Martin DB5 version of British Racing Green. Much chrome replaced grill trim etc. Engine rebuilt with new pistons, hardened/turned crank and head set for unleaded gas, new clutch, brakes and front suspension rebuilt, radiator re-cored. Five new tyres fitted to stock wheels with chrome rims. The voltage stabilizer for the gauges was replaced. New wiring harness and assorted electric parts replaced including tachometer, fuel sender and new speedo cable. New leather interior (biscuit or beige) fitted at that time including door panels, new carpet (green), and boot/trunk finished in leather and carpet too (these materials were the same as used in restoring the DB5). Top and tonneau cover were replaced in dark brown stay fast material. New Alpine AM/FM CD player installed w/new speakers. Recently converted to Weber carb.
