Hi, Thank you for looking at this restored (in 2016) replica on a 1952 MG TD convertible. I just spent $6000 to restore this hand-built car that my father and I built in 1985.My wife and I are adopting two kids so the garage (sadly) has to be freed up. I will be glad to answer any questions and take your phone calls with questions too. I have all records and receipt from the restoration late last year - see photos. Major repairs/replacements include, new wiring and harness, all features from wipers, to horn, to headlight to new JVC radio, new brakes, new gas tank, battery, were restored or replaced and work great. Great running car. Could be an everyday driver. Manuel 4 speed transmission, with VW Super Beetle engine. The only issues with the car are that the snaps on the driver's side window will not stay snapped so you'd have to drive with the top down or without a driver window - this could be repaired by a canvass shop. The car is also leaking a bit of oil (drops on garage floor) - this also should not be a big deal. I just keep a piece of cardboard under there. My wife and I are expecting 2 kids and I just don't have time to take it to be repaired thus the discounted price of $2K which is reflected in the asking price. Please see photos for a beautiful car and the parts of chrome with rust. All in all this is a great value because I have to part with it. I will be glad to send copies of the late 2016 $6000.00 worth of restoration/repairs to interested buyers. My wife and I are having kids so sadly, the car has to find a new home.I'd love to see it go to someone who will appreciate it. There is no reserve price. Thank you again for looking. Sincerely, Spencer
