Hi, Thisa MG Midget 1974 I have begandisassembling it to restore it and have gotten this far. I have kept it in storage now for 15 years and it is time to send it to some one whom can afford and restore it. I have taken the original carpets out and removed the hard factory adhesive, hard to do for any one whom knows these old cars. This sports car is quite solid and very straight in the main body of the car, the floor hasn't been rusted through either. The replacement seats are from a dodge labaron and fit snug in the car. They need to be drilled bolted. The engine and trans was a Nissan Transplant 1500 so with reconstruction a Original MG Motor and Trans can be placed back in the car as I planned to do. the car clearly has had no major accidents and none since I have owned as I received it from a friend from a car club in hopes of having time to restore it. The wheels and hubs should be re splined. The fenders and hood are disassembledmost of the parts including bolts and hingesgo with the sports carThe suspension should be re kitted. Basically it needs a couple of days of pressure washing sanding and finish body work and it will be ready for show paint. Then Kitting and Reconstructing the drive train. The twin SU carbs are ready to be kitted and the Intake and exhaust manifold are allhere and came from myearlier MGA project they will fit the 1500 MG Motors. The convertible top frame is here and ingood conditionThis Sports Car is as is and as you see it.The sports car has a clean title andwill transferas soon as the money clears the bank. You will have to make arraignments for pick up I will assist in loadingfor delivery.
