Up for sale is my 1980 MG Midget import from Canada last year for us Market was 1979. Hundred percent original except for the Weber carburetor and the glasspack exhaust . 78,886 Kilometers or 49,017 Original miles. 1493cc Triumph Motor Factory rated at 101 MPH. Bought this car last year at auction it was stored in an indoor storage unit. took the car straight to a European auto shop here in Vegas replaced new gas tank, fuel pump, distributor, coil, new tires, Glasspack exhaust system and had all fluids changed from head to toe drivetrain. And have been driving it with no problems ever since. Why Sell? I'm retired and as a hobby I find things fix them up have a little fun and move on. I have a single-car garage and would like it back plus I'm 6 foot 4 inches tall So it's a little tough for me driving and Summers in Vegas are a little brutal for cruising in convertibles with no air conditioning. Interior is in perfect original condition with normal foot wear on floor carpet the only thing the bottom plastic half of the steering column cowl is broke and the glass Lens covering the interior light is broke but light works fine and the cigarette lighter doesn't work. All electrical works, Great sounding Magnavox original AM radio nice and loud. Windows roll up and down with ease and doors shut like they should. Trunk is very nice shuts and locks with interior light working. The body is totally straight with just the normal chips and scratches for the age one dent behind the right side of the license plate. Some areas of paint blistering near bottom of car ( see photo) One small oil leak on floor ( See photo next to Coin ) Car will be available for viewing on Thursday and Friday the 3rd and 4th of August before end of auction on Saturday. $500 PayPal Immediate deposit after auction Is required and to be paid in full within 7 days.
