Description of 1972 MG Midget

Hi - Welcome to my auction - I have a 1972 MG Midget for sale that is a local car out of Orange County California.Older paint that shows well with a few marks on the exterior but nothing too noticeable. Bright work on the car is pretty good with a little amount of oxidation on the rear bumper sections and some of the lights but also not that noticeable unless close up. The drivers side outside door handle has some paint touch up. There appeared to be some rust on the floor pan but was cut out and new steel plates welded in - this was the area at the back section of the two seats.Good convertible top with a new rear plastic window. New sun visors.The interior is decent just some dash cracks - seats I installed came out of a Mazda Miata - I do have the original seats - there were no tracks on them and the covers were bad.I also replace the steering wheel with a 13 inch. The original will go with the car - its in the trunk.All the gauges work as they should.Oil Pressure at 60 lbs.Mechanically the car runs great - I have installed a new distributor - electronic, a new alternator, new starter motor, spark plugs. adjusted the valves with a new valve cover gasket and rebuilt the carburetors .
