Description of 1959 MG MGA

A good running MGA (MG-A) with a MGB 1800 5-main bearing engine and MGB transmission installed. An unfinished project that has to go.

batteries (2-6 volt)

    Yes, the car has a steering wheel included but it is not in great shape.
    This is a California car which had been in storage for at least 15 years.
    This car has no rust on the sills or underside. Partly because of its California location and partly because it's British and leaks oil!
    Yes, this is a 5-main bearing MGB engine from 1976.
    No, it does not have an overdrive.
    Yes, the oil pressure is good @ 75 lbs. cold and 50 lbs. warm.

    Yes, I have pics of the oil pressure gauge and water temp during the test. See pics.
    No, I won't tell you the reserve.
    The electric tach is not hooked up.
    Yes, it has a 2-inch straight pipe from the exhaust manifold to the rear; no mufflers.
    Yes, you can hear the engine running 1/8 mile away.
    There is some corrosion damage caused by a leaking battery mounted in the trunk. See pics.
