Description of 1970 MG MGB 3.4L V6 Conversion Supercar |
Mileage: 53,500 (52,000 on the old speedometer - 1,500 on the new one - see pics). This car has a 1995 3.4 liter Camaro engine and T5 5-speed manual transmission installed. I bought the drivetrain from a hot rod shop,it was a rear-end wreck with 80,000 miles on it. This is one of the more common MGB conversions. This car has a clean California title and is exempt from smog testing. The Camaro engine bumps up horsepower from 92 to 160. Needless to say the combination of this with the light weight of the MG produces avery high performing sports car. The acceleration is thrilling and it cruises nicely at 95 mph.
