I HAVE BEEN ADVISED,, from credible MG enthuiasists," do not take one cent below 7k, period. 1970 MG MG B GT 1.8l 4 cylinder 4 speed manual transmission Engine / transmission: fresh oil change, filter, check valve clearance, cover gasket, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, heater valve, v-belt, rebuilt Weber 32/36, choke cable. RUNS LIKE A TOP! I believe there is a aftermarket camshaft, very responsive, strong runner, NEW throttle cable, heater valve cable, coolant change, new clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, pedal return springs. Great pedal, strong pressure plate, for sure, no chattering, noise. New clutch slave cylinder, clutch master cylinder. Electrical: New battery, battery boxes, cover seal, front turn signals, back lights serviced, new brake switch, light switch, rebuilt emergency flasher switch, rebuilt license plate lights. Fuel system: new tank, sender line to pump, points on pump, timing, rubber fuel line, filter, vacuum lines as required Brakes good, solid pedal. Tires: new (1200 miles), rims reconditioned, new caps, trim rings (one ring is incorrect) Stainless steel exhaust, all new hangers. Body very good for 50, some blistering. ALUMINUM HOOD, O.E.M. LEFT FENDER ($1000.00 retail). Under body: drivers side floor pan some smaller areas repaired, rust repaired at foot well (stainless patch, good for some time. Brace under seat rusty but solid. Passenger side solid. Interior: new seat tracks, cushions worn, but, tolerable, headliner good, needs recoloring to look uniform, some of panels have been prepped for recolor paint over spray), all other cockpit panels good, 1969 DOOR PANELS, 1972 dash, NEW. Dash cover, radio delete, console good, NO CARPET. Painted floor / rubber floor covering. Rust in engine bay above foot well, left inner dash area, this is not uncommon. Leave it alone, or, wait until repaint. Its a good looking car that has been sufficiently protected for several years. Any questions / photos Dan. All info accurate. Getting better every day.
