Description of 1966 Mini Classic Mini

Selling my 1966 Countryman. It runs great and everyone turns to look at this car. smile and wave or thumbs up! This car has been in my family for 25 years and I hate to sell it. but I no longer have time for it and want to give someone else the opportunity to drive it and enjoy it! Has 1293cc engine (1275cc bored over 0. 020) with remote change 4 synchro gearbox with 3. 44 diff. All sorts of engine goodies: Isky lifters and pushrods. Vizard VP7 cam. heavy duty clutch. lightened flywheel and backing plate. dual valve springs. center oil pickup. 4 core radiator. HIF44 carb with K&N. RC40 exhaust. Aldon Yellow distributor. custom heavy duty sump guard and more. Only has about 3. 00 miles since full rebuild of engine. tranny. and diff. which was done in early 1990's (mileage on chassis is unknown). but some parts have been replaced/rebuilt since then (water pump. distributor condenser/points. plugs. wires. distributor cap. master cylinders. brake wheel cylinders. etc. -the parts that typically wear/fail simply due to age). Also has an auxiliary electric cooling fan. fuel pump switch on dash. and master battery kill switch with removable key. Body is in excellent shape with the exception of portions of the body seam missing where the rear bumpers would bolt. hence the stronger steel bumper bolted to the rear subframe. Black and yellow interior with gray reclining front seats. Everything else on the car has been rebuilt/replaced; the only original parts left are the rear door window seals and headliner. Includes heavy duty custom tow bar. The original heater has been rebuilt but not installed. New JBW 5X10 minilite style wheels and Yoko A008 tires installed November 2013 with only a couple hundred miles (still have rubber nubs on tires). Only known issues are odometer not working (speedo works) and a tiny oil leak (I've never seen a mini that doesn't). From my online research. the odometer issue appears to be an easy fix. Also have boxes of used spare parts including five 5X10 Cosmic wheels with tires/lugnuts. SU carbs. oil cooler and much more. Also have several new parts including chrome bullet mirror. Hi-Lo kit. and rear chrome bumpers. I estimate at least $1. 00 worth of spare parts. Currently registered in TX as an antique (exempt from state inspection. but it would pass) and comes with clean blue TX title. Selling as a package and additional pictures of car and parts available upon request. I have a folder full of receipts documenting the parts purchased and engine machine work completed.
