This car is a very rare 1959 Morris Min, it was built in England on the 18th September 1959 for the American market . We believe it is the oldest surviving original Morris Mini in North America. The car was completely stripped and every part replaced or refurbished approx. 8 years ago . The engine was overhauled as was the gearbox . The gearbox we found was a magnesium case as verified by 1959miniregister.com . Within the last 2 years we managed to obtain a set of new brass synchros and return the gearbox to factory new specs. Theonly body panel changed was the rear valence under the rear bumper and that was due to dents not rust. This car has all the unique traits of the 1959 year model . The only part non-standard is a tow hitch under the front bumper that we attached an A frame so we can flat tow it to local shows. The mileage shows 1366 miles since resto and half of that was being towed . The Morris Mini was officially launched in August 1959. This vehicle is not in concourse condition it still needs a few items finishin, there is minor paint blemish on the boot lid as seen in phot, if you can find one it needs a glass windscreen washer bottle .I have a spare new distributor and a spare S.U. electric pump as well as other assorted bitsnbobs . I have a new girlfriend a 28ft sailboat so this old girl deserves a new mate. We moved from Kansas and she still has a clear Kansas title. Come see this amazing original mini and take a look I can pick you up from the airport in Orlando. Let me know if you would like more pictures or have any questions . If you are a car collector and want a unique and rare mini here's your chance.
