What were you doing in 1972? This amazing little car will take you right back as you restore it to its former glory. This car had very light duty on the tiny island of Catalina in Southern California for the past 14 years. It's in Long Beach now. It hasn't run for about 6 months now and I just don't have the time to get it running again. It has the highly desirable and powerful 1275 engine but you should plan on a basic rebuild, depending on what you are looking for by way of performance. The transmission was rebuilt in 2009. It also has the mightily sought-after disc brakes (working). It has a boss roof rack and four good Kumho tires. As in all classic minis of this vintage, there are some rust issues. We call them "cooling vents." The right driver door and sill is pretty well rusted out. Most other parts of the car only have light rust though. It's all part of the fun of owning a British car. Clean California title in hand. You are exempt from having to get a smog certificate because this car is pre-1975.
