Description of 1971 Mini Classic Mini

1971 1275cc LHD Sportspack Style Classic Mini Convertible
Unrestored condition with brand a new convertible top last month. All new front and rear seat upholstery also last month. The rest of the interior is good but needs tidying up. and some refreshing.Power disc brakes. WEBER carburetor. 4 speed manual transmission.Converted to a convertible model in 1991 by Weizinger (still in business) in Germany from a European market 1275 Mini. Probably the nicest conversion on a Classic Mini with proper reinforcements and great build quality. Looks great with the top removed, up or down. There is a matching tonneau cover in the trunk.Runs and drives well. Needs TLC on the lower part of the drivers door as there are some bubbles under the paint there. Some rust showing on the front of the front floor pans too but no signs of rust in all the other usual areas. The paint overall is good with minor scratches in a few places and slightly dull paint on the passenger door from the Florida sun. Speedo is in KPH (easily converted with a gauge sticker kit).Clear Florida Title
