This is a 1000ccRover Mini that was manufactured in Great Britain in 1987. Complete engine rebuild by The Mini Shed with new clutch pressure plate, disc, throw out bearing, plunger, clutch arm, thrust sleeve, lightweight flywheel backplate, flywheel center, lock bolt tab and key,slave cylinder, radiator and fan with new hoses . Everything in the engine bay is clean and tidy with new hardware, no leaks anywhere just had a complete tune up. Near new Yokohama a008 high quality tires with Mini lite wheels. It runs great, always starts easily and and is very very reliable it could be a daily driver if you wanted to I wouldn't hesitate to take it long distance it cruises on the highway at 70 easily without the throttle being depressed much. The paint shows its age when up close on the drivers side at the pinch weld below the lower windshield corner on the flat part of the fender there's crazing in the paint and on the fender beside the headlight slight imperfections, a few chips in the paint on passenger fender where it meets the door I started to touch up but decided not too so you can see the bare metal approx 2 inch chips , the inside of the doors and trunk is a slightly different shade of green, small dent on the rear right at the union jack sticker. All the chrome is really nice, interior is tidy with clean comfortable seats, slight yellowing on the headliner, nice dash without any cracks or sun fade. Like I said it's extremely dependable and I set the reserve reasonably but as I said when you get close the paint shows its age. It's a great opportunity to have a mini at a fair price that you can drive anywhere in confidence and do cosmetic improvements in the ways you want to when you want actually if you want to at all. It gets lots of thumbs up and compliments for sure just the way she is. But for example some things that wouldn't cost very much at all but would really enhance it such as more plush carpet, using a mild solvent on the headliner, color sanding and buffing the paint, touch up chips on right side fender. The windshield wipers and turn signals don't work never had anyone look into it I just use rain x. If for some reason these things I mention are a deal breaker to you I could possibly help out with some things my friend is an upholsterer and could install nice plush carpet etc. just email me with your thoughts also if your in need transport let me know I know a few shippers that I've had experience with that are prompt and reasonable and depending on how far away my friend has a trailer and could deliver it for a very fair price. This is my 4th mini over the years and I've had other british cars for over 30 years but unfortunately my morris minor woody needs new wood and my cabin needs a roof so it's time for the mini to be rehomed.
