Description of 1980 Mini Classic Mini Mini Cooper |
An Outstanding Mini Cooper for the Classic Mini Collector This is a real collector's car that will only appreciate in value and at the same time having fun driving it. It is a blast to drive. zippy and steady. Disc brakes. fuel injection. nbsp;half leather seats. modern radio and CD player. driver air bag. side impact bars. very good paint. no visible rust anywhere on the car. It's a RHD car from the UK which now has a New Hampshire title registered as a 1984. It has been greatly improved and upgraded to the equivalent of a 2000 model year. Outstanding. these cars are now selling in the UK for more than my BIN price. the same numbers BUT IN POUNDS STERLING! An alert ebay member pointed out that different wheel rims are shown in some of the pictures; he is right and the correct rims are shown in the first photo above. and are the originals. The "star like rims" are after market and were exchanged for the originals prior to shipping from the UK. My response follows. I have also added two pix at the end of the pictures I have taken in the US showing the proper original rims. My response: Dear miltonwb. i Milton. you are much more perceptive and alert than me! The correct wheel rims are the originals and are shown in the first picture and in the attached pic showing the left side of the car from the back taken by me in the US as well as the first pix above and here again. The other pics showing a more "star design" are after market ones that were removed before shipping to the US and were pics taken in the UK. Sorry for the confusion. There is no smell of smoke in the car. the glass is good condition and I have found NO oil leak on the garage floor. A very nice car. Thank you for helping me to clarify the rim matter. - geh5413The car is first listed as a 1980 but is a 1984. If you want more pix please advise. If you have any questions drop me an email and I'll do my best to respond as quickly as possible. |
