1989 MITSUBISHI MONTERO LS 4 WHEEL DRIVE
This is a very clean original southern, irst generation, ontero so no rust issues anywhere.
The interior is very clean. The carpets are all clean and dry with no wear.
All of the seats are in good original condition. The bottom of the drivers seat shows some wear only on the bottom.
The drivers seat has the factory air ride option.
The headliner is in good original condition.
All of the gauges work.
All of the power windows and locks work.
The engine runs quiet and smooth. Does not smoke.
The transmission shifts smooth.
The 4 wheel drive works.
The paint has a good shine with no clear coat issues. No body damage.
Tires all have good tread.
The A/C needs to be switched from R-12 to R-134.
The radio turns on and lights up but no sound. Might need new speakers.
The Montero runs and drives very smooth with no issues.
Before I listed this for sale there was a buyers inspection done so both myself and the buyer would know the condition the Montero was in. This inspection goes with the Montero.
The inspection shows the following.
Starter would sometimes not engage. Now has a new starter.One of the shocks were leaking so now has all 4 new shocks.Due for a full service so now has oil change and all filters replaced.The shop recommended a transmission fluid service which was done.
Other wise everything else checked out fine. It runs and drives smooth and quiet.
