Snorkels, block heaters, lift kits and locking differentials are all available through a multitude of distributors. The right hand drive (RHD) steering adds a unique aspect to your driving experience which can take a moment to get used to. Make sure to hug the shoulder of the road while driving and check the blind spot on the right hand side of the van. Most vehicles of this style and function, such as the VW Vanagon Westfalia Syncro, Sprinter 4x4, Sportsmobile and Chevy AWD van, have either cooling system issues, low gas mileage, costly custom upgrades and may be too large for certain backroad access.
