Description of 1995 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 |

One of a kind 1995 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 in excellent condition! I am the 4th owner and bought the car off of a mechanical engineer from Virginia Tech with 114,000 miles in 2014. The reason I mention that it was a mechanical engineer is that he spent a lot of time and money on this car with some awesome modifications. Almost every part of this car has been touched in some way and it has all been done with serious thought and consideration. Some background: The engineer purchased the car in January 2004 with 86,000 miles. It has been garaged kept and has never seen snow at least since then. The first owner was an older guy and the 2nd owner was a young guy who did not have it very long. At around 98,000 miles the car spun a rod bearing and a full engine rebuild was done by IPS Motorsports in Columbus, Ohio. The car now has 120,885 miles and over 20K on the rebuild. The car has was tuned last spring by Crucial Performance in Columbus and is running great. See the attached video of it pulling 333 AWHP. Crucial told me if I were to purchase an AEM Engine Management System is could be tuned for over 450 hp. The car has bigger fuel injectors and bigger turbos than a stock VR-4. Since owning the car, I have had the transmission rebuilt from TMZ Performance, a new transfer case and South Bend Spec 3 clutch installed. Also, a new battery and new ignition coil pack. The following are the current issues that I know of: Car could use new tires. It was aligned recently, and the service tech said it aligned well. The paint is damaged where the doors weren’t opened properly when first installed and there are a few nicks here and there, but overall the paint looks really nice. The Anti-Lock brake light was on. I replaced the right front sensor which is where I was told the problem was. The light went off for a while but has came back on. The SRS light is on. It came on when I changed out the center console, and is staying on. The catalytic converters are no longer on the car. If the state you live in has an emissions inspection, this may be a problem. They were removed by the previous owner to make more horsepower. This car is also one of only 186 Mariana Blue Pearl VR-4s ever made and it is quite possibly one of the best looking and most well maintained VR-4s out there. It is lower to the ground than a stock VR-4 by about three inches. Feel free to ask any questions. Call my cell at 304-280-8297. Thanks for looking and taking the time to read the add. Car is being sold as is. Below is a link to the car on a dyno at Crucial Performance where it pulled 333 AWHP.
