Description of 1992 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 |
I am the second owner of this car, taken care of it since 1995. I was lucky enough to get ahold of the convertible version, Sprider VR4. last year and my old girl just doesn't get driven anymore.AWD 300HP Twin Turbo Sports Car, mostly stock under the hood (read below), but have upgraded the car with "more better' brakes, tires and lights. The infamous Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4, the Father of the current EVO (Lancer Evolution) The values of these cars keep increasing, this is like finding a needle in a haystack! Current NADA Book runs from $5,500 - $16,000 This would be a perfect project car for someone to complete my restore, or build into a high horsepower machine. Equipped with 3.0L Twin Turbo 300HP V6 Engine, 5 speed Manual Transmission and All Wheel Drive the VR4 is a sports car built for Colorado, summer or winter. If you know these cars, you know what I am talking about. I have owned this 1992 since 1995 and have kept her up through the years, but The body and paint need the work. Mechanically she runs and drives great. Why am I selling? Well, I replace her with the VR4 Spider, a rare convertible version of the same car. You can check it out if you come to see this car. And I have too many vehicles to keep her around. Some Generation 2 (Gen 2 1994-1998) swaps have been done to add the better components of the later years are: 1995 VR4 brakes Calipers (rears are hard to find) with that all new drilled and slotted rotor added great braking power. 1995 chrome 17" rims and new tires 1995 nose bumper cover, headlights and hood. Headlights have HID and LED bulbs. Some of the other items that have been done include: Catback SS Exhaust replaced 2 tone leather seats 7" Touchscreen Radio KYB Shocks Manual Boost Control with Boost Gauge and Blow-off Valve. I also have a few parts to go along with it. The car is a Colorado car, purchased at Emich Mitsubishi (now gone) in Denver and never left the state, never seen salt, so no rust or rot . The Title, issued in 1995 to me when I got the car, is in hand. I even have a CarFAX that I generated in 2005. |
