This 1961 Nash Metropolitan in reasonably good shape, and more importantly, 99 percent complete and a Nevada car. The car was previously owned by Dr. Lonnie Hammargren, former Lieutenant Governor of Nevada, in Las Vegas (contact me for a web address to visit the Lt.Governorssite). The car was a display piece and, unfortunately, spent a lot of time outside. This Nash has the 1500cc "B Series" in-line 4 cylinder motor. It has the original paint color (green) with the oil bath air cleaner. In its day, it could produce 50-plus horsepower. The motor has not run in several years but does turn over with the help of a wrench on the crank. The starter will engage but I don't want to make matters worse with what might be in the pan. The old girl will probably need a complete redo but, fortunately, the system is basic, all the parts are there, and from what I am told, most parts are available. There is also a Nash Metropolitan Club that can probably help with many questions. Also, the car is titled, so that should not present any problems.
