*What an amazing rare find! We have a 1955 Nash Metropolitan convertible. It is estimated that out of all the Metropolitans ever produced only 10 percent still exist with the convertibles being extra rare. A Nash expert informed us that the stock engines for the Metropolitan are actually MG engines because these are European made cars. He also informed us that the gauge behind the steering wheel appears to be original, however, the others are not. He believes they are MG gauges. The speedometer and odometer on the original gauge appear to be working and the original fuel gauge does not appear to be working. However, the gas and other non-original gauges all appear to be working. The engine runs amazing! There are cosmetic blemishes on this car. There is some rust and other imperfections through the paint but there does not seem to be any holes. The engine fires up with no problems and the gears shift easily. The soft top is in great shape and works nicely although the hardware it is mounted on isn't as clean. This car may not be winning any showroom appearance looks but is still a great car to own because as noted earlier it runs great and isn't an everyday find. The vehicle drives great, so you can have this as your everyday car, or choose to restore it at a later time. **If you have any questions do not hesitate to call us at (408)610-1000.**You may also view the video at *
