Description of 1952 Nash Ambassador Super -- |
Ground up restored one of the best examples existing. Nash set out to impress and they did. Hiring Italian designer Pinin Farina sure gave the cars a unique look. The Ambassador was the flagship model 7 inches longer then the Statesman. It also featured the Jetfire biggest engine available. Mechanics Illustrated regarded it as one of the best riding cars in America. Another unique feature was the "twin travel beds". Both seats fold flat into a bed. Used by traveling salesmen and banned at some outdoor movie theaters! This was a clean rust free car to start with. Rock solid floors and body. High quality paint with smooth finish. New chrome excellent glass and rubber. Motor compartment is detailed like it just rolled out of the factory. Clean trunk with new whitewall spare. Very nice and tidy interior. Unique 1950s Americana.
