1954 Nash Metropolitan Convertible - Very Original

You are bidding on a 1954 Nash Metropolitan convertible. This is a very original car that still has the original, matching numbers engine with it. It had a partial amateur restoration 6 or 8 years ago by a previous owner, including new upholstery, door panels, convertible top, rechromed bumpers, new tail lights, and a repaint that is just so-so. The engine was supposedly rebuilt at that time too, but I'm not sure if it was or not.

The engine will run for a few seconds but sputters and dies out almost immediately. I'd guess it is either an ignition or carburetor problem but I haven't taken the time to check it out.

I can see where there has been some rust repair in a few areas of the floors and rockers in the past.

I expect payment within 5 days of the end of the auction. The car can be picked up after your check has cleared my bank. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. Buyer will be given a Bill of Sale and the open Florida Title I received when I bought the car.
